Happy Independence Day!

I think the 4th of July is quickly becoming my new favorite holiday.

The weather is great!

The activities are endless!

The food is good (to me there is nothing better than fresh fruits and vegetables which are always plentiful this time of year!)!

And the company is always good!

This year we visited Thayne's sister Ramona, and her family in Utah for the 4th. We had such a relaxing, wonderful weekend, we didn't want it to end.

Although I am horrible at remembering to take pictures, we did have tons of fun. We went to breakfast at Mimi's Cafe. It was outstanding!!! I'm telling you, the blueberry stuffed french toast....MMMMMmmm!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed the parade! It was big, and fun, and full of candy and fire trucks. :)

Ramona and Curtis had a big BBQ for lunch, as well as a HUGE water slide for everyone to play on. We all had a blast and acted like we were 12 years old again.

And the fireworks that night were wonderful! It was fun to sit on the grass, surrounded with other people from the community, and remember how grateful we should be for this country that we live in!

I too love the 4th! And it was perfect weather this year, not too hot. Glad we got to spend it with family.
