Getting Crafty

I thought I would make a quick post to actually prove that i make things that I pin on pinterest. So here is proof. 

These ribbon flowers were so fun to make. I made 7 in about two hours, then I had to mail a couple to my sister who was too sweet and gave us the most awesome gift basket full of a fun family night.

DeRiah also made the girls these adorable hats. I LOVE the cute flowers on them. I have to say, seeing my little sister grow up and get married has made me realize how fast time flies, and how badly I miss spending time with her and the rest of my family. 

I also decided to attempt to make a pencil skirt from a pair of maternity pants that are too big for me...

That didn't turn out. HAHA!

I guess we all have our failures...

And Successes:

I made this adorable flower from the pockets of those maternity pants. Yes, the pockets!!! So cutting up the pants wasn't a total waste I guess.
