The past month... starting with Goodbyes and Packing

This last month has been a busy one for our family, and highly anticipated. It feels like we have been waiting for years (which we actually have) for this opportunity of dental school. The hardest part was saying goodbye to everyone. We have been so blessed to live around such wonderful people wherever we lived, whether it was in Rigby or Rexburg, the people we were able to meet and get to know have helped us become better in one way or another, whether it was through their testimonies, friendship, encouragement or wonderful personalities we have been truly blessed by ALL of you!

The kids had a hard time saying goodbye to friends, but we were able to see most of them one more time before we left.
One of Jarom's best friends from Rigby (Jack)
They have played together since they were in nursery. :)
Nana and Papa (my parents) came for one last visit before we left. The kids miss them like crazy, but thanks to Skype and letters we will be okay. I have to thank them for all they have done for us, and for the special little things they do, like having a special hotdog roast just for Jarom because he was going to be at school when we had the big one... or sending emails and notes to the kids. It means the world to them.

Taylor: "BEST FRIEND EVER" according to Jarom.
It is the hardest thing in the world to feel like you are taking your kids away from their best friend. I wish my kids could grow up next door to these guys.
We are going to miss you all like crazy!
In many ways the Johnsons are more like family anyway, considering Whitney and I are pretty much sisters. :)
Saying goodbye to TJ.
Cousins are the best! We are going to miss everyone. It is so fun to live close enough to family that you can visit them often. That will be something we have to get used to living whithout here in Charleston.

I know, I didn't post pictures of everyone that we had to say goodbye to... that would take all day. But we miss all of you... even the ones not pictured. And thank you to everyone who went out of their way to help us as we were preparing for our move... from the amazing moms in our ward (Kellie Espelin) who watched the kids while we packed and loaded the truck... to those who brought us meals and snacks/fun stuff for the road to entertain the kids... as well as those who helped us pack and load the truck and clean the house. We are grateful.
