We have had SUCH a fun summer! Especially since Thayne's classes ended for the semester. For about 90 % of it I feel like we've been driving. The other time we have been having a blast! We FINALLY finished planting our lawn, and it is SUCH a relief to have it all planted! As our reward for all our hard labor of doing it ourselves, we went to . . .

LAGOON!

Taysia on the carousel (It was the one ride we snuck her on since we didn't buy her tickets.)

Jarom loved this! He actually loved all the rides. I think he could live there and never get sick of it.

This was the first ride Jarom went on. He loved it, and surprising enough, it didn't make either of us sick, which was a huge relief!

Seriously!

A few of the crew that went with us. We took my little sister DeRiah because she has been staying with us for the last couple of weeks. It has been so much fun having her here, I could definitely get used to it!

I think either the bumper cars or the airplane ride were Jarom's favorite, and can you blame him? It is cars, and the whole point is to CRASH them! Of course it would be his favorite!!!

Little Pilot Man!

Did I mention Jarom LOVED Lagoon?

MMMMmmm! MM!

Taysia didn't ride many rides, ok, so she only rode one because tickets were so expensive, and we weren't sure how many she could ride, but she was so good. She rode in the stroller all day, and couldn't have been better. All in all, I think she had an awesome day too.

After Lagoon came Nephan and Carly's wedding.
Little Stud! (sweaty from all his hard play, but yet still handsome!)

DeRiah, modeling my diaper bag! Can I just tell you, I LOVE THEM! They hold everything.... literally, and yet still look cute!!!

My little lady!

Congratulations Nephan and Carly!

That was Saturday......
This was Monday....
The crazies that decided to pick huckleberries for FHE. Notice the wet pants! This was after we trudged through all the brush right after it had rained. On the bright side, the berries were very clean... we were... well, just wet. But Thanks to Amy and Glenn, we actually did find a huge amount, and I feel like it was worth it.

Huckleberry Picking 101

1. Dress warm! Even in August, you never know what the weather will be like.
2. Wear long pants, and shoes, and make sure your children are also dressed appropriately. (I spaced it on Jarom.... Poor kid)

3. If it has previously rained, be prepared to get soaked.

4. Bring kids. They always make it more interesting... and fun!!!

5. Look at nature with an open mind.

6. Don't expect too many berries to end up in the bucket that your child is carrying...

... or your own for that matter.

7. Have fun while you pick, and be prepared for a long..... really long.... drive back where you get lost, and have no cell service. And after driving around lost for an hour and a half you realize it would have been faster to just go back to rexburg where you started from because that is where you ended up anyway.

8. Take with you a sense of humor... and a cute boy!... Ha ha! Sorry, this cute boy is taken!

9. Go with Glenn and Amy because they seriously know how to find the best patch of HUGE berries!
